Толкование на группу стихов: Ис: 43: 13-13
It is certainly true that the Word existed prior to the incarnation and that Christ was then in union with the Father, but when the text says from the beginning it affirms that God has ordained his will to stand, and there is no one who is able to deter or divert his will. For “there is no other God,” and clearly there is no one who is able to rescue from my hands, no one who is able to overturn the things that I have appointed. Now on the one hand these things were said about Jacob and Israel, but on the other hand they refer to the apostolic band. And the Word discusses all the generations of the Jews who received the Christ of God.

Still from the beginning I am; and there is no one who can deliver from my hands, I will do it and who will turn it back? These things he also said through the blessed Moses: "I will kill and I will make to live, I will strike and I will heal, and there is no one who shall deliver from my hands."
