Толкование на группу стихов: Ис: 3: 5-5
And on seeing those who are called the patriarchs of the Jewish people—for they were truly youths, not only concerning the age of their bodies but also concerning their incompletely developed souls and premature thinking—who would not say that the teachers who were left were mockers? Concerning them the prophet proclaimed: And the people will fall together, man against man, and a man against his neighbor; the child will stumble against the elder, and the dishonored against the honorable. No one in the army or any citizen (who did not have the word of God among them)—even if in poverty and thinking himself to be in need—would go so far as to say that he had neither cloak nor enough bread to eat. Indeed, the graceful cloak is a euphemism signifying what covers the disfigurement of their soul, and bread signifies the deeper meaning of the nourishing word.
