Толкование на группу стихов: Ис: 24: 5-5
But instead of and the earth behaved lawlessly because of those who inhabit it, Symmachus says: And the earth was defiled by blood by those who inhabit it. For the aforementioned exalted ones of the earth defiled the earth with blood, murdering and thus filling it with blood. And the earth suffered these things because of those who inhabit it, because they transgressed the law and changed the ordinance—they disbanded an everlasting covenant. For all people who have inhabited the world from the very beginning, “Greeks together with barbarians,” all have inherited the natural law and the ordinances of God. They have this law “written” in their souls. And because they have been given a glimpse of the eternal covenant through general revelation, they have become “transgressors” of the natural law. Therefore, it is with good reason that those who are to be judged will stand in the divine court of justice and render an account for their transgression.
