THE GLORY OF GOD PORTRAYED IN THE CLOUDS. PSEUDO-DIONYSIUS: The Word of God also depicts the celestial beings as a cloud, signifying, through this, that these holy and intelligent beings are filled transcendently with hidden light, receiving the first manifestation without boasting over it as such, which they distribute ungrudgingly to the lower orders, as a secondary manifestation, and in proportion to their capacity.
