Saint Moses also testified that Christ the Lord, an infant, could not have been killed while still nursing, in these words, saying, “You shall not cook a lamb in the milk of its own mother” Exod 23:19. He is indicating the same thing, that Christ our Lord, who is the true Lamb of God, was to suffer only at the appointed time.
